Fourwinds 24F slide question

I have a 2017 24F with a full slide. Doing some poking around today to find a rattle and came across this. I have one mounted above the propane tank and one above the generator. Looks like they fit into a channel when the slide comes in. Neither of these are attached in any significant way to the coach. The one above the generator freely moves so it isn't attached at all. The one above the propane tank is attached with 2 screw and is about to fall out. Any clue as to what these are?

Our 31w had them under the dinette, I figured they were there to support the seating in case of an accident.

I contacted Thor tech support this morning and they said the two T looking things help guide the slide in. They also said they are free floating and the channels on the outer wall of the slide engage with the T to keep the slide stable during travel. Seems like a logical explanation. I will try to look under the slide when it is in to see if they really do engage and if they hold the slide in any significant way.

Sounds like something a glob of axle grease could be applied to. Every little bit helps.

We have this same set up on our 24 SA & I lube them often with a specific slide lubricant.

Update to my previous post. I emailed Thor the photos and they got back to me today with some details and sent a drawing. The tees are called slide anchors and prevent the slide from moving in a rollover. The drawing shows a slide retainer bracket installed around each tee to hold it in a vertical position. The brackets are on the top side of the floor deck inside the coach and held in place with two screws attached to the tee. The drawing also mentions an adjustment that is done once the slide is installed but gives no details. As a result, I’m taking the coach to the dealer to have the tees installed correctly.

Finally got this fixed. Thor authorized an out-of-warranty repair and the dealer did the work. Not only do I feel safer but my slide seems to work much better. An added bonus - the dealer was training techs so they went over my coach outside and resealed some seams and fixed a few spots on the roof where the sealant was thin or coming up. Checked the tires, cleaned the fridge outside and checked the hot water tank. All for free.
