If you have the Axxerra radio that is the microphone for the hands free Bluetooth. Allows you to connect your cell phone via Bluetooth.

If it is hanging down from the shade I the upper left, it's a sensor/detector to keep the shade from lowering too far while driving and obstruct your view.

If it's the same as on my ACE, it is a microphone for the Bluetooth. If your phone is synced, it allows the person you're conversing with to be able to hear you over the ambient noise in the home. You can uncoil the wire and use the clip to attach the mic somewhere close to you.
