Same Problem

Our fresh water tank only fills to 1/3 on our Thor Quantum. It’s not our first fill. We have filled it to full before but won’t fill now.

Same problem on Thor Quantum

How do you know it's only 1/3 full? The indicator lights are notoriously unreliable.

Fresh water won't fill

I think this should be an obvious fixable problem. Can you inspect the fresh water tank to see the actual level of water? The only reason a gravity fed system could be not filling would be if the hose from the inlet enters the fresh water tank and drops to a lower level in the tank, two thirds the way down in the tank. It's more probable that you are just reading the indoor indicator and is not working that the first reply suggested.

In the past the fresh water indicator would show full and we had plenty of water. Now it only shows 1/3 full and we run out of water very quickly.

Have you eyeballed the tank? Most are translucent so you can see the actual water level. Does water come out of the fill vent when filling or does it just backup in the fill tube?

So what happens when it stopped filling?

I assume the water was still on. If you statement in this post is true and it does not overflow from tank or back out a gravity fill port, you must have issue with city water fill and tank fill valve. It must be closing prematurely putting it in City Fill mode; or you are in City Fill mode and it leaks to allow the tank to fil but only enough pressure tp get to 1/3 full.

My guess is the latter.
