Front grill
I have a 2015 Thor Axis 24.1
The front grill has a snap on bug screen.
The grill is loose on one side.
Any idea how I can tighten it?

Did you buy that one new?
Our 2014 Axis doesn't have a bug screen on the grill.

No it was not new when we bought it. The bug screen snaps on to the grill. The grill seems to be loose where the snaps are.

That sounds like something the previous owners added. Perhaps if you post a picture or two we might be able to help.

klou,
Search the threads on this Forum as there were several different MODs done by various owners to protect the radiator.

There are usually bolts on the back side of the grill to hold it in place.

The bolts are the ones that are loose and I don't know how to tighten them

Should be able to snug them up with a wrench or ratchet. The bolt itself is usually embedded in the fiberglass and then has a nut and washer that screws in to hold the grill, at least that's how mine is.

The nut and washer have disappeared! I would like to open the engine cover to see if I can access it that way but I can't figure out how to do that either! Oh boy. ..an old grandma trying to figure this out!

If you don't see the washer and nut still on the bolt they probably vibrated loose and are gone. Just replace them, and the screen should hold. If you are concerned that you don't know the size to buy, get an assorted set. I usually have some extra screws, bolts, washers, and nuts lying around and try to use them first--if only to know the size. You can try to take a measuring stick to it, but hard to get accurate measurements. If still in doubt, and none of the spares are the same size, try a pencil rub of the bolt end on a piece of paper and try to match up at the hardware store. Depending on what you have, and if the bold is long enough, I might look into using a wing nut, as it is easier for our female fingers to hand tighten.
I have an ACE, and the round hollow key (like an old fashioned skate key or a freezer key) is what opens my engine compartment. I can also access through the doghouse. I think your coach might have different access.

Loose nuts
Ditto the skate/fireplace key to unlatch the front grill, it pulls forward and up, access is easy then.
The missing nut(s) are a 3/8" coarse thread. Any hardware store will have them. Ask for a nylon locking nut and washer, it will be stiff going on. If that's not available, get the plain nut, lock washer and flat washer but put a coat of nail polish on the threads of the stud just as you assemble it to keep it from coming loose. Check the others. The wrench is usually a 9/16".
It's an easy fix. Good luck.
