Front window shade switch

I have a mini button switch dangling from the front window shade on my 2018 35m. Does anyone know what's that's for?

That switch is used to adjust the limits of the front shade, how far it will go down when driving and where it stops when retracting.

On my Vegas I just tucked it up out of the way instead of it dangling down all the time.
