valve (looks closed) on the passenger side in the 3" pipe going across the bottom What is it for? The gray and black dump valves are on the drivers side.

That is the black line from the bathroom. Probably have a black holding tank on the passenger side. You should also have a smaller gray line running across also from the shower. The sink can be gray or black. I'm thinking black.

two different black valves

One of the valves is right off the black tank under the passenger side.. on the drivers side in the dump area is the typical black dump.
Is the black on the passenger side suppose to stay open all the time or
are you expected to pull that every time you dump. Its not the easiest valve to get to.

you can leave the top one open. Never leave the bottom one open unless dumping.

thanks

The delivery person did not even mention this valve. What a mess I
would have been in if I didn't happen to look under the coach.
I'm guessing this is for an instance where you had to replace the
pipe goes across??

That is safety valve in the event you should hit something on the road and break your black tank line leading to the dump valve. Keep it closed until you are ready to dump.

I think it’s there to keep the “solids” from settling into the long low pipe and clogging it. By having the gate valve near the tank this issue is much less likely.
