Generator/charging issue

2014 Hurricane 32A
Generator only stays running if RV is running. There's plenty of fuel in the RV. Turn off RV, Gen runs for about 5 minutes and dies. Generator also is not charging batteries. Also having an issue with SP, it works for a bit and then it will pop the circuit at the house batteries. I've checked all breakers and fuses, including fuses on the converter. I'm at a loss, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have an ags?
How long have you had the rv?
Has it ever worked as you think it should?
Are the batteries charged?
Many other things needed to be known to keep from just shotgunning you half-assed answers.

Your generator needs 12 VDC from the house batteries to run. That is supplied by the RV engine when it is running.

Generator charges the batteries the exact same way as Shore Power. (SP) Does your generator power anything else?

What "circuit" is being "popped" at the house batteries?

What is the current state of charge of your house batteries?

Have you checked the DC breakers in/near the battery compartment?

Does anything run off the house batteries when not plugged into SP (ie., interior lights, water pump)?
