We only have the Good Sam Club.
I figure, if and when something goes afoul, I should be able to research and correct it myself, more cost effectively.
Talking with Good Sam, we had just moved up from a tow behind to a class C, both toy haulers.
I liked the part of them covering a roadside flat tire for even my other vehicles.
However, I did hear her tell me it did not cover the cost of not having a spare tire to install, should you experience a flat tire.
With that in mind, I noticed an area below the garage part, behind the trailer hitch.
So, I fabricated a tire carrier, and installed it.
There was even a slotted hole on each side, in the frame, that a 2" pipe fit, that is my pivot point for getting the tire off the tee shaped bracket I fabricated.
I could not help thinking just how much a spare tire and rim would cost delivered, along side the road, no doubt, and not covered.
Another time, recently, our leveler hydraulics went to not working, not even in manual over ride.
My troubleshooting and investigating led me into its system and logic control valves.
I found the directional control valve had stuck between positions.
I replaced the part, $41, but I had to buy 2 as there was an $80 minimum to order.
Then again, my career was a machine repairman/machinist, with plenty of hydraulics experience, intimidated, not me!
I guess I am crossing fingers nothing else expensive goes out, things they tell you would be covered.
There you have it, so far, so good!
It's just how much, and/or knowledgeable, are you willing to get into yourself, vs, paying to have it done.
I still have some youth and willingness on my side!
