Gray water tank size Thor Sequence 2022 - 20A

Can you tell me the size and capacity of the gray water tank for my Thor Sequence 20A 2022 -- I was told 20 gal but when I empty it it seems like 5 gal

It might be 5 gallons.
That chart says you have under 5 gallons as a black tank.
If it's wrong about that it could sure have the columns mislabeled.

And
While it's too late for you but not buyers to be:

Don't be told ANYTHING.
Research, make them prove every statement with fact.

Thanks

Interesting - the specifications show 20 gal. It backed up into the shower and when I emptied it - it was no more than 5 gallons - I don't know what is going on but but it does not hold 20 gallons. Might there be any explanation ?

What is the difference in the list below for "waste water" 4.75 gal -- vs gray water? Where is the waste water coming from in contrast to where the gray water is coming from>

I am emptying through the compartment and hose below which seems more like the 4.75 waste water.

Waste is black ( toilet) grey is sinks and shower. Should be 2 handles for dumping one for black and one for grey

It would not be the first time that Thor improperly installed plumbing but........ when I looked at your floor plan, it shows you have toilet / shower combo. I would think there would not be enough room to have the shower and toilet in the same location and have separate drains to different tanks given the size of your rig.

It is very possible your kitchen sink is plumbed to the 20 gallon grey tank but the shower and toilet are plumbed to the ~5 gallon black tank.

You need to go to the Thor Owners site and download the schematics for your rig to see how they actually plumbed everything.

What doesn't make much sense to me after watching the video is that it says your rig has a cassette toilet.... which means no need for a black tank at all. Many cassette toilets have their own 5 gallon removable waste reservoir. So it is possible that Thor has plumbed things so you don't have to remove the reservoir and you just open the valve to drain it as shown in the video. That may in fact mean the shower is draining into the cassette toilet reservoir as well and that is why it backed up into the shower.

That would be a crappy design (no pun intended) but I think that is the way they did it because of space restraints. The 20K and 20L have flush toilets and 13.5 gallon black tanks but the 20A and 20J have the cassette toilets and ~5 gallon waste reservoir.

If that is the case, you are going to be taking showers where you only run the water momentarily so you don't fill up the tank by just taking a shower. One of the reasons it has the Showermiser for getting the hot water hot without filling the tanks too quickly.

Thor Sequence 2022 Gray Water Tank

Thanks for the reply -- the shower and sink defiantly seem to go to the same tank We do not have a black water tank but a "cassette toilet" which is independent of any of the tanks or drain. I only have that cassette toilet which I take out and dump by hand and the "gray water tank that drains out a hose under neath the chassi. That is where both the kitchen sink drain and shower drain go to. There are no other drains or tanks except a fresh water tank of some 25 gal.

I will down load the schematics and you suggest and watch the video as you suggest and probably just adjust to a small gray water tank which is not a big deal
