Heat Controls While Driving

We recently purchased a 2013 Thor ACE 30.1 motor coach. We will be traveling south in late December during winter conditions (possibly -32 C/-22 F, or colder). We are unsure of any heat ducts originating directly under the dash for our feet. Although one of the control settings indicates a setting for windshield defrost and heat to the feet, we have been unable to locate vents under the dash for the feet. There is a circular rotating vent on the front of dash that maybe able to supply heat to the floor somewhat. However, we are wondering if that will be enough heat to clear the windshield and also keep our feet warm. We are wondering of other's experience with this particular unit in this regard.

On my ACE there is a hose pointing down in both the passenger's and the driver's area under the dash.

Yeah, you will have floor heat ducts for your feet. Turn it on high and direct knob down to feet only and then see if you can locate the vent tubes.

On my RV it just a 3 inch flexable round duct that was lying kinda loose on each side of the RV. Might be kinda hard to see.

You might be able to move and relocate to a better spot if your is like mine. Thats what I did.

Heat Ducts

We did, indeed, find the flexible heat ducts under the dash. They were very short and tucked away, so could not be adjusted at this time. Since it is winter now where we live we'll have to wait until we are in a warmer climate to see if there is a successful way to adjust them to our satisfaction.
Thank you for helping us out.
