when I put it on use, house lights come on...push slide retract, nothing, push battery button on control panel, shows full charge (4 lights)

Well that pretty much confirms your USE/STORE switch and relay are working and your house batteries appear good. As I recall you have a 2017 Hurricane? The interlocks should be:

Engine running, parking brake set to operate the levelers.
Engine off, key removed to operate the slide and bed.

So it looks like it is not an operator error/interlock problem but it could be an ignition switch interlock relay problem - that would probably be beyond the scope of forum help.

Or a power to just the slide and bed problem - like a fuse in the power panel - have you checked/verified the fuse for the slide is good in the panel?

Otherwise try the override procedure with the engine off/key out to see if that will get the slide moving.

all good now I called the 24/7 tech support and the guy told me that the because of a safety issue, the slide will not work with the engine running. So, I turned it off and the slide works fine now....he said that the 2017 thors were set up that way and until 2020 all of them were. All I know is it works now and we get to go on our trip tomorrow! THANK YOU ALL for your advice....we just bought it in Jan and are having a blast with it...5 trips planned this summer...and I love this forum I have learned so much from it!

Slides are 12volts. Not 120 volt breaker related.

You will know. 13.5 if you use a volt meter.

What a fascinating string this Forum has generated...OP was panic stricken as much as I was last Christmas...in short order, this village got me down from the ledge too...another brilliant success story for the Forum...wish we could share a beer at a ‘real’ campfire, not just this virtual one...cheers all!...Ian (Harmsy)
