Help with water issue

I need help. I'm new to owning a RV. This is my first trip after having it winterized. After I hooked up the water line a ran the antifreeze out of my line. However my water is cloudy and will not clear up. What do I need to do?

Is the new fresh water coming into your RV cloudy?

If the fresh city water isn't cloudy, then continue to flush your system until it runs clear. Replace the RV water system filter.

The fresh water is not cloudy. How long should I flush the lines?

It can sometimes take 10~20 minutes, especially with a new RV as you may have residual material in the lines from the mfg process.

If the water continues to be cloudy, your water system could be sucking air. Check the antifreeze port to make sure the cap is on tight. Especially if the dealer winterized it, they might not have put the cap on tight.

In Thor's never-ending effort to be cheap, they don't put a valve in the antifreeze port, but rather - just a cap.

Look for the cap in the area of the water pump.
