Cable hook up on new JM31

We just bought a 2020 Thor Quantam JM31 and I am a little confused about the cable hook up situation. We have a wall mounted HMDI Splitter that has 3 TVs running off of it. We have tested them all and all seem to receive well on Air selection. We have not been able to test anything else as we have not taken it out yet, with our first trip starting April 2nd. Behind the Splitter is a cable intlet but no cable is attached to it. Is there anything I need to do to or to know to make sure the unit is ready for cable before I head out?

Hopefully all you'll have to do is hook up to the campground cable, turn your antenna booster off, reprogram the tv for cable and search for channel's.

No, you don't need to do anything with that coax connector and I don't know what it's for. I asked that question and never got an answer. Maybe for a portable TV?

As mentioned above, hook up to the park cable, turn the booster off, Select input on your TV's from the remote and select cable, have the TV's do a channel search then enjoy.

That connector is for any digital device to transmit to all TVs such as a DVD player or computer. You can also pull signals off the antenna and record then through a Fire TV Recast, TiVo Bolt, etc.

I assume you are correct. If he has a HDMI splitter, he should be able to plug into the input of the splitter to transmit to all TV's. My DVD player is.
I guess devices that only have a coax output would be plugged into that coax connection
