Chassis Battery Dead

We were getting ready to head out on our 1st trip of the year on the upcoming weekend and found that the battery was dead and the ACE would not start. Last time it was driven was on May for a 2 hour trip to dealer to get it de-winterized (we had never done it before) Jumper cables took 20 minutes to get enough juice to start and drove it to the Ford dealer down the road. The battery was checked and they said it was OK but one cell was fluttering. My question is whether or not to replace the battery anyway (its going on 3yrs old) I am not sure how long they actually last. One other odd thing was that the radio would not work either and the rig was plugged in and I thought the radio ran off the house battery?

I am betting that once you replace your 3 year old battery with a good quality replacement, all will be well. Don't know what "fluttering" really means other than your battery is ready for a complete failure.
