How cold is the air on your Vegas Dash unit

My AC has never worked well. Been trying to get it fixed properly for 3 years. This last try and I'm getting outlet air around 60 degrees F. with outside air at around 85F

Anyone else doing better. The thor warranty rep said that was normal??

Most car units put air out around 35-45.

Anyone measured yours?

Where and why have you been taking it for the last three years? What excuses are they making for their poor work?

Mine blows very cold. Whatever a car is supposed to blow, mines colder.
Freezes up about once an hour.
I turn it off until the air warms up, then turn it back on.
It's done this since day one.
I'm not going to get it fixed.
I can turn a knob twice an hour.

Do you have symptoms other than the output temp?

Not any car I've driven. A good A/C puts out air cooled 20 to 25 degrees colder than the air going in. So if the air in the car has cooled down to 70 degrees you may get 45 degrees out of the vent.

Why are you talking to Thor about a Ford AC unit. You should be talking to Ford.

Because everything except the compressor and maybe the condenser was installed by Thor?

I learn on a vegas when to say its a ford issue or a thor issue.

Your engine ac is a Ford issue, do you have a good ford dealership around you that works on vegas?

I just went out and fired up RV outside temp was 79

3 minutes later, parts of my lower half were freezing! HA

Mine "feels" cold but that is very subjective. To test the performance you need one of those small refrigeration thermometers. They run around $5 -$10at walmart and harbor freight.

This type of thermometer has a probe that sticks into the AC duct and measures the air temp.

Ive had mine worked on at Thor, Ford, and a local freight liner center.

If yours freezes up the "evaporator temp sensor" is not working. It looks like this
