Jeffrey, thanks, that is what I will buy. Also, I do need one for the shower compartment which you said was smaller. Do you recall the size it takes? Again, thanks a bunch!

Just trying to help someone out. Some people carry more than sewer hoses.

No, that one you can keep with your same "shower key" like i did. My unit is at my storage currently or I would look. Good Luck & Safe Travels!

One more thing. Be sure to get non retaining so you can remove the key when unlocked.

As already pointed out, locking those cargo doors provides no real security. I only lock them when I am going to be on the road for awhile, mainly to prevent them from opening while in motion, rarely at any other time.

The cost of all new locks is probably greater then anything I keep on the outside that someone would want. Just don't sweat the small stuff.
I actually moved some of the locks to unused compartments such as the black water tank so I could have lock less doors on places that they just aren't needed. Like the dump valve compartment.

If anyone wants what I have in my bays I would rather they use a key rather than pry it open and damage the coach. I have never lost a thing in a CG except for my pressure regulator which I have a terrable habit of driving off and leaving behind.

I started putting my regulator between hose and filter on RV side of hose... Rather than at spigot end... After 'donating' my last variable pressure regulator to the next camper...

I also unintentionally donated my water regulator to either the RV Park or the next RVer at my site on my first trip out. I replaced it with an adjustable regulator and have been more careful with it. I think I did leave a flexible hose protector recently, though, because I can't find it in all my other stuff. 😮

I wish the camper ahead of me would leave his regulator. I have purchased three in two years. The last one I left laying on the picnic table

An extra set of sharp eyes to 'sweep" the site, can prevent leaving a trail of breadcrumbs back to your previous site...

2016vegas, thanks for the tip on getting non-retaining locks. It never occurred to me that there would be key retaining locks.

Our minimalist tendencies limit concerns about someone breaking into storage compartments and stealing our stuff. I check the doors to be sure they are locked simply as a precaution against them opening while on the road at our pulse quickening 55-60mph. The first thing any thief worth his/her salt does when a new security device is introduced is figure out a way to get around it. Granted, it may keep him away as he/she prefers an easy target, but the odds are probably in your favor of not being targeted anyway so I think a lot of the concern is paranoia and marketing. Just my humble opinion.
As for the problem of the disappearing pressure regulators, that problem is solved by putting it on the 90 degree connector on the side of the motor home instead of at the spigot - unless you have a super heavy duty adjustable solid brass one with other things attached. Mine is a simple plastic regulator. Works for me but I still left a chair.

I'll probably be OK as long as I don't forget and leave the spousal unit sometime. That would really be ugly when I realized my mistake and returned to get her, 😁
