Your Christmas List

Now that Thanksgiving is over, what's on your RV Christmas list?

For me it's running boards for the Mercedes.

Well, I’d like the back ordered catalytic converter to replace my stolen one to come in. How fun is that?!

I have everything that I need except for my Missus to get better...
This'll take a lot more than what Father Christmas can carry in his sleigh...
Please say some prayers for her.

Thanks Guys!
She's as stubborn as a Texas Chigger; so she's got that on her side.

(And she also bites like one of them! )

just HOGS, wild that is . the 308 takes them down fast and humanely. 50 to 100 yards, most in the 60 yard range.
308 is getting hard to get, as the 223 and creedmore crowd discovered their ammo is harder to get , but the stag 10 and savage never fails to amaze.

this year has been fraught with difficulties to get in the lease, lots of rattlesnakes earlier (they are protected here) and now rain and darn deer. oh and lots of onry turkeys. they might be on the platter to

timber rattlers, north east texas. can only kill if you are in direct harm.

wildlife agents dont view you hiking through woods as them attacking you
so we give them wide berth. but this year they seem to be MORE of them in the lease.

along with lots more yellow jackets and hornets making homes in the blinds

A .22 revolver loaded with shotshell rounds is less lethal; but will take the meanness out of them.

We downsized into the middle unit of a “threeplex” when we retired and bought our RV. My go to weapon is a 9mm and that would be a poor choice in my crowded home environment. Might need to give this some thought. I’d really hate to just make my bad guy more mad though!

I have a solution...
Get yourself a compact 38 Special...
Have someone handled a box of 148 gr hollow-based wadcutters...

...but load them backwards (The hollow base to the front)
You don't need a lot of velocity: about 700 fps will do it! They don't Penetrate too deeply; but open up like crazy.
