Hurricane 32A Wiper Arm Problem

Our 2013 Hurricane 32A has a windshield wiper arm problem. The passenger side arm wipes across and then past the windshield coming to rest on the pivot of the driver side wiper. It has to be moved back to the windshield manually. We've tightened the nut holding the wiper in place but the problem persists. Any suggestions for repair would be welcomed.

Often time the wiper arms have an adapter that allows for using the same arm on multiple sized splined shafts. If that adapter has worn out or the splines on the shaft are worn you can tighten the nut until you are blue in the face and the motor shaft will just spin inside the arm. Check the splines on the shaft and the arm.
