Agree. The floorplan also shows that there is an optional rooftop bed large enough for two, so I’m guessing that it may appeal to some younger families also, or grandparents who “occasionally” travel with two grandkids.
The optional pop-top bed probably affects amount of standard solar, which is listed at 455 Watts. However, the standard Ekko comes with generator, 320 Ah lithium, and dedicated second alternator, plus shore power charging. Even if all solar was deleted (and it may not) for the pop-top, there are plenty of ways to charge battery. There is also an option to delete Onan for a second 320 Ah Lithionics battery, for a total of 640 Ah. That would be a tough choice.
The size of the bike garage, plus all-wheel-drive, make the EKKO pretty nice. I would guess fuel economy for its size is not great though.
What I don’t like at all is the only engine choice, and even less is that front seats are so low compared to back that when swiveled to face rear, you have to sit on thick cushions. That just seems so wrong for a motorhome in that price range. Otherwise, I like it a lot.
