Jensen AWM914 - does anyone's volume + work?

So, I understand there is no option of remote control for volume with the Jensen AWM914 in the bedroom and even if I can get my smartphone to connect it still won't regulate volume.

The + volume button does nothing on our unit. Rendering the unit useless. Any suggestions or secret resolutions to this tricky little bugger?

My volume works from both the radio and from the iPhone when connected through bluetooth. You may have a bad radio.

Thanks! Waiting to hear from Jensen. Can't get my HTC Mini+ smartphone to connect. Will try my Kindle next time.

If your Jensen is similar to ours...in the upper left corner there is an a/b button...one is for exterior speakers and one is for interior/bedroom speakers.
I have not used the radio in some time, so I do not recall which is which..but, if you have the exterior speaker side on...and hear nothing, press that button and see if your interior speakers come on.

If that is not the problem...you might go into the settings menu and play with the options.
Including turning off the backlight so you do not have battery drain.

When I press the volume + button nothing changes on the display, the volume level stays at 0.

I went out to our Axis and played with our Jensen...
this may be redundant....
Press the on button...press again to change preset stations or
use programming buttons on right side of display
make sure you are on a bonafide station.
Below the power button on the left is A & B buttons..
A turns on the rear interior speakers...B exterior speakers
Has mute button been depressed?
Go into Menu ... press quickly to change options .. check fader and balance
(while I was in there, since the rear speakers are not too great...I reduced the treble and bumped up the bass a bit)
Our Jensen functions....if I were going to listen to music in the bedroom/outside much...I would use an alternative.

Our volume works...I agree with checking on the MUTE function, as when MUTE is on our volume shows 0

However, since we are speaking of the JENSEN radio...how do you set the clock?

I can get the time to set, however, it doesn't ever seem to change the time displayed...I have tried to use the ENTER button (6), but the time is still in its own world...
