Keeping cool

Hi gang!
Question: when in hi heat areas do you find that cracking the roof vents while running the a/ c helps let the hot air escape? Or does it really not make a difference.

We do when we first turn air on, maybe 5 min. I think it pushes hot out but don't know. Our unit seems to cool down fairly fast.

We just changed our rooftop out to a 15,000 verses the stock 13,500. It made a big difference. I also hung a curtain behind the drivers/passengers seat. That seemed to help the front area stay cool while driving especially if i was not running my generator and rooftop.
