Level or slide out first

I see you have gotten a lot of responses to your question. Speaking from experience your slide out will come off the tracks (out of square) and leak water if you slide out before leveling. I have a 2015 Thor Hurricane 34J with full driver side slide. Always level your motor home before pushing the slide out.

Initially I use a level and set my motor home a little high on the slide side so when the slide is out it is level. The bubble will be close to the line on the level and not centered in the level. I also check after the slide is out to make sure it is level.

Always always level first.

I do the same. Multiple checks at different places and make sure the bathroom door stays open.

I check three:
The floor in the middle of the living area...
The kitchen countertop...
and...
The inside of the refrigerator!

(Gotta make sure that the Barley-Pops will get cold enough! )

I look at the cheap little bubble that sits on the kitchen counter and just walk around...your "inner gyro" should tell you when close is close. Most CG's require very little leveling so we just hit the manual buttons till the lights go off.
