Levelers on 2015 Palazzo

Our auto jacks quit working on our 2015 Palazzo. It appears to be electrical but not sure. Has anyone else had this problem with this issue, and if so what was the solution.

Try resetting the controller, if the lights come on when you press the on/off button. If there are no lights, the pump and controller are powered by a 4 ga cable from the house battery compartment. The cable is protected with a 100 amp circuit breaker. It is the type with a yellow flag when tripped. Try resetting the CB.

o.k., but first... what are your symptoms?

Does the panel light up and 'work'?

Does the panel not do anything when you press a button?

usually, the panel is actually working off the chassis battery...tied into the ignition.
but, the Hydraulics are working off the House batteries, and there is a 'bus fuse' on the wall of the battery bay that may have 'tripped'...

I know, it happened to us in South Dakota back in '14. Thought it was low on fluids. no.

If the 'buss fuse' has tripped, a little 'yellow' flag may protrude below - push it back in and try the leveling again.

Our symptoms were the entire control panel lit up and jacks did not respond . We reset the console and reset the breaker but when we tried the jacks again the breaker popped again. We have a full charge on all batteries and fluid levels good.

when you say you 'reset' the console, exactly what do you mean?

also, what 'breaker' did you reset? which of these is on a breaker?
a breaker is for a 120v outlet or device, not the panel or the hydraulics...

do you mean you reset the main Buss Fuse on the battery bay wall?

try again, but this time press MANUAL mode, rather than automatic, and only press for a few seconds one of the arrows, usually one that is lighted. If you can do this, then it seems that the 'automatic' mode is the issue. But, who knows, I'm just guessing.

Our only issue was the main Buss Fuse had tripped, causing the hydraulics to not work, but once reset, it has never been another issue in over 60,000 more miles.

Yes, reset the Buss fuse but something still causing it to pop. Will try the manual thing but still want "auto jacks" we paid for. Thanks everybody for your input.

I understand your 'aggravation' that something is not working, but I also think that you'll find that you really 'don't' want to use auto level very often, if ever, once you realize you can do it better on your own. You'll see once you've done it a few times.

good luck!

Finally located the problem for our auto jacks. It was as simple as replacing the batteries. A simple solution for a complex problem. Isn't that always the was....
