Agreed but Northern Michigan / Michigan is very large area and a lot of rural land, so some context as to where would be relevant. The OP has a place to get propane but never elaborated on why the Ground Rat refused to fill his tank? Sticker or not, I know if I saw some thing odd, I would not fill either. $20 - $30 worth of propane ain't work any risks. But if it was brand new RV and some sticker was missing, that may have been vintage Ground Rat

Always remember to never stay in your RV while propane is filling.
All humans and pets should exit for safety!
It may be the law in some states.

propane problem sold today!

Thanks for all the feedback and ideas. It's a Thor Sequence Class B 2021 model year and it was the first fill since I bought it. I ended up at a Tractor Supply after call ahead and once the TSC guy confirmed there is a pressure relief valve right beside the filling port, he was fine and it's filled.

No doubt that propane incidents are not good and I wouldn't want one on my RV during a tailgate or camping. Having the PRV, I was always ok with filling it, just needed to find a station that would also be ok with it.
