May need to sell MH : (

Hi everyone,

Not sure yet but looking more and more like I'll need to totally unexpectedly sell MH soon. I posted it on the classifieds here as a possible upcoming sale.

Not happy about it at all but sometimes life throws you curveballs. Just when I got almost everything the way I wanted it (thanks to all you guys).

I had 4 trips booked, which is the saddest part. s

If I do sell can I pretend I still have a Thor so I can hang with you guys? LOL.

What ever happens we all hope you come out of this with the homerun which Im sure you deserve.
At points and times we have all had to do what you have to in the spur of a moment.

Its now posted for sale in classifieds.

I can't imagine anything will keep me away from RVing forever so I'll look at this as a small setback in this game of life we are all playing.

Mr Sunshine, I like and agree with your saying - and I think I'm ok with not knowing what's next.

rvtrader.com is the largest online market. Mine is for sale., have had many inquires. Some dealers have consignments. best ..

We have a 2016 Thor Axis 25.2 we need to sell. Any suggestions? I have read this forum before and seen that you dont recomend using Camping World. Thanks for your help.

The answer depends on you and your situation. Most probably don't want to DIY this. Have you sold autos or homes without help? The next step would be consignment. You have to watch out for salessnakes there. We had a disappointing experience with that.

Then there is sell it outright to a dealer. They all will allow for expenses and profit, so you may be shocked at what they offer. I once heard that dealers try to clear ten grand on used RVs. Not sure if that applies to the full range.

Demand for used RVs has been strong, so it would seem like a good time to market your rig. Let your forum friends know how it works out for you.

have you checked RV Trader ? They DO charge for a listing...but, take a look at their site...it is well done and they get results.

Thanks to Mr Sunshine and vkb for your reply. We have been camping since we first married over 37 years ago. We started out in a Palomino Pop up camper, then a used class C, allegro bay, 30 ft 5th wheel, Lance truck camper, Open range travel trailer and now a Thor Axis. I love it. Just right for me to drive. My husband doesn't like the limited space we have. We need a recliner for him too. The model we have wont allow us to put one in. We will look at RV trader site. We always traded in or sold locally before.

RV Trader is next place I list. I have mine now on the classifieds for this site, Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace and an RV Classified Facebook group. So far I've had inquiries only from Craigslist. Craigslist is generally a pain now for other items with all the scammers BUT for RVs you now have to pay $5.00 which is fine as I think it keeps the scammers to a minimum and I asked anyone that replies to send me their email AND phone number if they want me to respond.
