Mobile StarLink Here?

I think the ultimate internet solution is just around the corner... and right above your head. Our old buddy Elon has now stated that MOBILE CAPABLE Starlink is coming very soon.

I am sitting with pen in hand to write the proverbial check as soon as it does. I will replace our home internet in a heartbeat with Starlink... then take it on the road when we travel.

Considering this is the ONLY internet connection you'll need - both at home AND on the road - the (current) price seems very reasonable. No campground WiFi needed... even in the middle of the desert! AND... there's rumors of a Starlink capable WiFi phone. An incredible all-in-one package!

Well there was a Starlink discussion:

Also note that there are several other players in the satellite internet game (Amazon being one) but they are all waaaay behind SpaceX.

Considering the logistics, I think the first one on the field (in this case) has a MUCH better chance of winning the game. Musk just might have the moxy to pull it off.

If this fails, there's going to be a whole bunch of worthless hardware floating in low earth orbit.
