We replaced the original bedroom and overcab mattresses in our Palazzo. We are happy we did. For the queen we took measurements and both a 10" residential foam mattress from a chain mattress store. Fit fine, works great. For the overcab we went to a local matress store that does custom padding and bought an 6" foam pad, fine for the grandkids.

Mattres Replacement

Hey Mac,

I have a 2016 CHATEAU 23U. By early 2017 my mattress was destroying my back. Long story short, I went with a Foam Factory (https://www.foambymail.com/) 8" total, MFM, Full-XL, custom cut/with cover to match the original shape for necessary door clearance. I'm still very happy with my choice. Other than being a satisfied customer I do not have anything to do with Foam Factory. I'm just sharing my experience. They are great to work with and they will help with your order to make sure you have the best fit for your needs.
Good luck in your search!
Cheers,
JP

Being unhappy with our factory Denver Mattress after a 2 month trip, did a lot of research and landed at the Montana Hybrid mattress at windernessmattress.com. Have slept on it for 3 straight months and am happy. No more trenches, nor aches and pains! Good luck!

I was told to buy a 3" mattress topper and it's sleeps better than my home mattress. We love it.

We went with a 3" mattress topper from Costco. No more achy back, hips, shoulders, or legs. DW is happy, we both get a full restful sleep.
