New RV owner

Hi all! I recently purchased a 2016 Thor Axis 24.1 and moved it to an RV park in NC while I learn about it and pack it up to get ready for a winter in Florida. It's going to be cold here for the next couple of days (21 as a low but highs well above freezing). I will not be living in the RV but will be coming every day to work on it and pack, so I was hoping a space heater (or two) with a thermostat would help keep the RV warm enough to avoid damage and keep me from having to winterize for a couple of days of freezing temps. Does anyone have recommendations on where to place the space heaters in the Thor Axis for the best protection?

Congratulations and welcome to the site.

Well if you have a full tank of propane you could simply set the furnace to 40F or so and let it run (granted with it being 21F out you'll burn through a lot of that propane).

If you're using space heaters (at most 2 as you'll start throwing breakers with more) you'll want one in the front (with the kitchen cabinets open to let the heat in there) and one in the rear (water tank and pump are under the passenger bed).

Leave the waste tank heaters on (switches on the main panel), and get some pink RV antifreeze (just 1 gallon) and dump some in the drains (for extra insurance and to keep the traps from freezing).
