Get a Surge Protector...it attaches to the post, where you hookup. There are several different models out there...will check what ours is and post..the good ones run upwards of $250 ... money well spent !

A set of Tire Chox is good to have, even if your coach has levelers ..
If your coach does not have an exterior storage for your sewer hose, you will want to fabricate one and hang it under the body towards the rear...

Check the Mods & Updates Thread on this forum...everyone is helpful and have posted many neat applications for virtually everything !

Happy Camping

Thank you for the response I will look into a surge protector never even heard of it before but found them on the camping world site, I also thought about Chocks but quickly dismissed them due to having the levelers and lastly yes I keep my sewage pipes along with the flush hose with dump portion on the coach. again hank you so much I will purchase at least the block immediately and wait for a good response on the surge protector.

That is a wide open question there; LOL.

If you have a smartphone I'd recommend you install the iExit app (https://iexitapp.com/). It doesn't work like most navigation apps: You simply leave it running and it figures out what are the next exits coming up and shows you what is at those exits. Very handy. (No affiliation, just happy camper )

I compiled an Owners manual for the Axis/Vegas. It contains checklists that you might find useful -- setup and teardown, equippage, storage, sanitizing, etc. If you send me an email at bevedfelker@live.com I'll send you a copy.

Outside the coach--sewer line slinky support, tv cable, water pressure regulator, disposable latex gloves, small tool kit, Teflon tape for the city water connection, patio mat/carpet, fan(keep bugs away), step stool & many others. I would consider these a must have.
Inside the coach--oxygenics shower head, black tank sanitizer, flashlight, cordless drill with (Phillips, star, and flat head bits), a ceramic pizza stone to place in the oven to distribute heat evenly when baking, volt meter/tester, command hooks, & damp rid / dehumidifier. Hope this helps.

surge protector

Portable Surge Guard with LCD Display, 30 Amp - TRC 34830 - Surge Protectors - Camping World
comes in 50 amp as well

The is the Surge Protector we have and are happy with it. When you hookup tothe post, attach this item to the post outlet for the amp you are using..it goes through a checklist to make sure the power going to your RV is correct and without problems. In the event of a storm or any other outside electrical problems, it will shut off your power.

We also, have a water filter we attach to our outside water source.

If you travel with pets..make sure you have blankets or whatever you prefer to protect your 'leather' couch/dinette and front seats from claw marks and more.

If you plan on using the Showers at a particular campground, rather than yours in your RV...take along with your shower items...a small shower mat...you will be glad you did !

If you have a "real" gas oven.
buy a set of toaster oven metal cooking set. then get some silicone cooking mats cut down to fit.
The cookie sheet is just the right size for baking biskits for breakfast.(get the pilsbury "grands" in a sack, that way you won't have a mess to clean up and no waste. also works well for Stoffers casseroles & lasagna..

And don't forget to make "3-2-1" cakes in custard cups (google this)

Enjoy
