Newbie question "303"

I've read several threads on the forum about the use of a product called "303" that is used , I believe, on the exterior of the RV to clean/protect it? What exactly is it, how is it used, and where do I get it? Thanks for any info. Stay safe.

Here you go: 303 Aerospace Protectant

Used to protect outside surfaces against UV and other issues.

There are a few different 303 products. There is a speed detailer, cleaner, protectant, fabric cleaaner etc...

Most are available from Amazon and you can also find them at marine parts centers.

I have only used regular 303 protectant. In most southern states, including Florida, Walmart generally has it for around $14 per spray bottle. It is in the aisle with boating stuff, like hull cleaner and stuff. It is so popular in SW Florida my two local WM's have been out for a couple weeks.

What parts do you actually use it on? I was guessing the vent fan protectors, maybe sun roof over the shower. But didn't know where else

Due to where I live, I use it on almost everything rubber or plastic. Every month I make the climb up on the roof and wipe down everything you mentioned. I use it around the seals on my basement storage doors and on the rubber trim around my windshield. About two or three times a year I will clean and then coat my tires with it.

I use it around the house a lot also to protect stuff outside from UV damage.

Because I do not live in Florida, I don't apply it that often as Joe-FL. But I do apply it to all the covers he mentions, and also to the outside walls of the tires.
I just put new tires on (my old ones approached 7 years), and the old ones still looked like new. I think 303 helped with this (I do not use tire covers).

I don't have a good answer for using it on rubber roofs. I don't use it on my roof but I don't know if it would hurt it or not. Good question if someone knows the answer.
