Found our old Weber Q

I went out to the shop and managed to find our old Weber Q (model 200- I believe). How can I tell if this can be used with a propane tank on the 2018 Four Winds 23U that I am considering purchasing?

I think my late husband modified it because it has a long hose on it....I’m just not sure if it was modified for a portable tank vs on-board propane tank. I am attaching a photo of the end of the hose.

TIA!

Does the grille have a regulator attached to it?
(Can you get us a picture of the other end of that hose?

That's a quick-disconnect fitting: it sure should hook to something!

Seeing the other end would be helpful wouldn’t it?
The other end is attached to the Weber Q- see pics
(Excuse the mess- it’s more of a storage area out in the back)

There are all sorts of adapter fittings for propane hose quick disconnects. Any propane appliance dealer will have quite an assortment in stock and can make up a whip hose to connect the Webber to your coach.

CW actually sells a 12 foot quick-disconnect hose for just this purpose:

I really don't...
I just know where to find stuff!

Happy Shopping!

If you can catch a salesperson on the phone, and explain what you're trying to hook up: they can certainly steer you in the right direction...

The fitting on the end of your Weber hose is a quick disconnect for use on an auxiliary gas supply stub valve installed on an RV. Y'all must have used this with a previous camper? The original regulator has been removed from the grill as the regulator on the RV served it's purpose. The RV you may purchase just night come pre-plumbed for that grill use.
