No Longer an RV Owner

Bit the bullet and sold the ACE today.

Debating whether to sell the toad or keep it for my son.

It might be a good idea to list your towed here if you want to sell it.
Saying you potentially have a towed for sale and then not describing it seems... Unproductive.

So what's coming next?
Will you be moving on?
Or moving up?

We too, after over twenty years of RV'ing are currently without an RV. Keep looking at new ones, but really not sure what, or if. With Covid, I'm kind of glad we don't have one, as we would be getting little if any use out of it. Also the age monster is after us, so really not sure we want to RV any more, but have not ruled it out, either.

It's always fun to look over the fence...
Don't let the age monster cramp your style: live life on your terms.
Besides: you're not done growing up yet!

Thanks Bob, we are doing just that, but along with the age monster, there are also some health and medical issues we are dealing with. We will continue to do all we can for as long as we can, though the format may necessarily change some.

We're fighting some really serious health issues also.
But we're as stubborn as a pair of old goats: we will not surrender!

Take your time and just "browse" around and if something looks good, go for it.

Completely disagree with you..... our coach has helped us get through COVID without losing our sanity.

After things got locked down in early March, we spent time in NC, SC, Georgia and Virginia during late March, April and May. Instead of self-isolating at home we were able to self-isolate in the motorhome and campgrounds.

Going to the grocery store on the road is no different than home. We took the Spyder and did a lot of site seeing and spending time in the great outdoors enjoying the springtime weather.

I can’t imagine dealing with a pandering without a motorhome.

Not really interested in trying to sway anyone, just saying what works and doesn't work for us. Everyone has their own priorities, and that's fine, but I'm neither right or wrong, and neither are you.

Rumor has it I will be getting orders for Europe in the spring. Couldn't take it with us so selling was the best option. Definitely a new one in 3-4 years..

My last PCS was supposed to be for Hawaii. We ended up in Kings Bay, GA.

DW and myself talked about this very topic this evening. We figure 3 to 5 more years of good valuable travel. We will no longer fly and will not stay in any more hotels. The remaining options are continue to RV or quit traveling. We are not ready to quit.

Kind of in that same boat. Figure another 3 - 5 years of serious travel in the motorhome then maybe a small TT for local forest bathing trips. Even with COVID we’ve got 56 nights in the RV this year - though more than half of it was pre COVID. I think we’ll do another 6 or 8 before really bad weather gets here. Maybe.

Good luck with whatever comes next.
This gives you a lot of extra time for shopping...
