Awning adjustments on 2018 axis

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the tilt on the awning on the 2018 axis? My dealer doesn't seem to know how, his answer was to always close it when it rains.

You may be able to adjust the tilt, but you will be wise to always close it when it rains! Voice of experience here, insurance paid for my ruined awning, but I had to cough up the deductible.

I agree its best to close them when any kind of weather is happening or about to. Somehow they seem very fragile. I know ours has a close switch on it, if the wind bumps it very much, which I know works, as I raised the end of the awning with a broom and it closed, but I don't really trust that it could get it in with no damage.

On each arm there are a series of (i beleive) 6 holes. There is a push in pin that you can push and adjust the tilt of the awning. The pins are on the right side of the arms. With that said these new style of awnings to me are only good for sun. I always bring mine in when I leave and at night.

The 2018's have the armless awning so this advice won't work (unless he has a 2018 with the older awning on it).
