Open Road Calling....

We have been back into a sticknbrick for just under 3 years. However, being on an extended trip this summer has us thinking of returning to full time RVing and selling our home.

We wouldn't transition until the early spring of 2018. Florida home prices/sales continue to rise so that would be no problem. The main issue that will take time will probably be what MH to find for full time.

We finally have the Challenger handling the way we want, but can still only tow 5,000 pounds. Probably going to have to seek out a gently used DP that can tow up to 10,000 so we can have an enclosed trailer to haul car and motorcycle.

We really enjoyed full timing before and just think that while our health is still good we had better get it out of our system. There are a lot of wonderful places to still see and explore in this great country and our clock is ticking.

I have always said " if It feels good then Do it". We were back from a 3000, 2 month trip for 2 weeks and we are currently out just for a few days again. We love the lifestyle. Good luck In your decision process!! Jerry

Thanks Jerry. We will slowly start "weeding" through some stuff and getting rid of it when we get back south for the winter. I think Craig's List will be my friend once again.

We have been full timing for just 2 and 1/2 weeks but wouldn’t trade it for anything. We are selling the condo and have rid it of everything that we didn’t want. We just had the rig weighed and are way under the magic GCWR with our towed vehicle. We were amazed that we didn’t weigh more since we are carrying everything we own! I guess we REALLY did downsize before starting out!

The point being, if you can do it and have the health and resources... go for it!
