Outdoor Chairs

Thought I would ask a simple question. I like to carry four outdoor chairs on the RV and it is time (once again) to replace them. Somehow they just don’t seem to hold up.

Anyone got a recommendation? What has lasted and is comfortable.?

Thanks in advance.

We gave up on "comfortable and long-last in".
We just get the cheap cloth folding chairs that fold up into a bag. We replace them whenever the mood hits us.

Don't know about finding room for four (depends on your rig) - but wife and I LOVE gravity chairs! Won't fit in any of our Windsport storage bays, but it's worth it to let them ride on the bed between destinations. We picked up a couple at Aldi last year - similar to these but with larger pads and tables. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Everyday-...atio/320854165

Those might fit in the front storage chest of my "Toad-hauler".

Check these ones. I purchased 4 of them last year and I am very happy camper. They are solidly made, with good quality materials ( metal parts and fabric as well). Very light, solid and very comfortable.I really like the dual locks. Not cheap but highly recommend them.

Our Coleman chairs we bought 13 years ago have outlasted the bags they store in. The problem is, these chairs keep getting cheaper and cheaper so If you bought the current model of our Coleman chairs you would probably not get the same use out of them.

One of the things we do to keep our good chairs good is to also carry some cheap throw-away chairs to use at the beach and carry to campfires, etc, events away from the camper. We also don't leave them out to be rained or dewed on.

Our current favorite is the GCI Freestyle. They rock on shocks on the back. We've seen them several places, bought ours at Dick's Sporting. They run around $50.

We use the gravity free chairs found on Amazon. We carry them on a cheap rack that hangs from the rear ladder. Also found on Amazon.

We carry 4 of these in the compartment by the door. They are very light, fold nicely, work on gravel/dirt and hold up. Had them for years and they keep getting higher priced but still good quality. Since in decent weather we eat outside the tray is handy as well and of course so is the beverage holder

Heavy Duty Chairs

My husband is a big guy, so heavy duty is a must. We bought these in 2015 (I think).

We went through several types. On a whim we purchased two directors type chairs, on sale, from Harbor Freight. Light, easy to fold, and they have held up. I found them to be comfortable to sit in for several hours at a time.

I wanted something that treated my back like a chair should. These aren’t cheap and have lasted several seasons so far.

Outdoor Chairs

My wife and I have 2 Wilcor Outdoors collapsible chairs. They are high back and heavy duty. We purchased them on sale for $50 each. We really enjoy them.

We really like these, comfortable and light weight, like sitting in a stable chair, just outside. ours are a different brand but i've seen many and tried many and they all sit about the same, oh our are 7+ years old.

We bought 4 Summit Chairs from Camping World about 8 years ago. They have been everywhere- beach, forest - and are still in great shape. About $40 each. We have the regular chair style, not the rockers.
