My 34j windsport has the macerator pump but it does not pump right away. I had to replace the waterless trap because of leaking and now all is leak free. When I fill the sink and hit the switch it just sits there. If I persuade the water to go down (small plunger, not mechanical at the risk of messing up that trap), it takes it and sucks the rest down. It is like it gets vapor locked. Any ideas?

When you replumbed the drain, did you reinstall the sink stopper correctly. That stopper I believer could be part of your problem.

After I reinstalled the trap it did not work so I removed the stopper. All together. Still does not work.

I can try to put the stopper back in. Im open to anything.
