Yes. just be sure you have 4 wires, 240 volts. 2 hots, a neutral, and a ground.

Be careful. The hot tub is probably 240. Your 50 is 110/120.

We just made a mod change so now while driving we can run the Norcold on Inverter without propane or generator running
I too judge fridge temp by how cold my beer is. The wife seems to worry about other stuff, meat and such. If the beer is cold, we’re good to go.

Wrong, your RV is 120/240 VOLTS. No such thing as 110/120.

Excuse me! I just know it’s different than my welder in the shop. My dryer and my stove in the house. My main concern in replying was to have the guy be careful and make sure he’s got the correctly wired plug for an RV. I do refer to it as 2 120 volt legs. But others may refer to it differently. I’m not an electrician.

Well that's it.... I am cancelling my RV trip to England

A good iron with 120volts AC is a terrible thing to waste.

I just bought this from Amazon which so far works great.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...MOT4TTPB&psc=1

I put one sensor in our Norcold Fridge and the other in outdoor kitchen fridge. It now gives me a reference point with the snowflakes and dial settings. It has alarm so if you leave door open it will detect the lower temperature based on how you set.

My motto is "You can't fix stupid, and you can't fix an opened hot beer"

That is the problem. Non electricians say Two 120 volt legs. ALL 240 volt is two 120 legs. split phase 180 degrees out of phase. They insist it's not 240 volts. IT IS EXACTLY LIKE THE STOVE IN YOUR HOUSE. 2 hots, 1 neutral and a ground. split phase. 240 volts L1 to L12.. It is very different than your welder. Your welder probally has no neutral. Before the early 90's , I can't remember the year, your dryer and range had no neutral. Both are 240 volts.

I just put a a clock, inside, outside temperature thermometer in mine too. I put the sensor under the motorhome by a baggage compartment. The fridge works so well on 3 snow flakes that when I open the beer it's almost too cold, but that's not possible

When you do the same thing day after day for 50 years you have a tendency to learn stuff.

technically new houses have 4 wire outlets per code. You can still get 3 wire cords for your dryer to plug into your old house. You gotta tell the sales person which one you need.

Since the wiring on my shack is just about 95 years old : I've got to remember to get up on the roof and change the string on the kite I fly during the lightning storms...

For true? I renovated a house about 10 years ago that still had lots of active knob and tube wiring. Most of it was soldiering along pretty well but a few sections were, ummm, alarming. Most of the house was trying to run on four 15A screw in fuses. Much better after a full rewire!
