propane accessory hose

2020 Thor XG32 has a quick disconnect for an outside propane grill. I was looking on line for a hose to connect my gas grill, it uses the small spin on bottles, but there are lots of choices.
Anyone have a part# or a link to the hose I need?

Thank you.

This is the one we ordered for our Vegas.

The hose does get a lot of use when we are traveling and grille most nights when camping!

If it uses those small bottles : you've probably got a regulator on it.(NOT a low-pressure grille)
Propanegear.com is wgere you can get the proper adapter to remove the regulator. (The RV will supply propane that is pre-regulated.)
After that: go to Camping World, and pick up a hose!
(Sorry... no link )

Thanks MichFigs, I can see from the link how the hose on the right side of pic will hook up too the quick disconnect, but I don't see how the hose will hook up to my grill ,hose end in left side of pic. My grill uses the small spin on bottles.

Thanks Bob, I will look at Propanegear. Mine does use the small bottles.

You don't mention what grill you have. The grill will have to be modified to allow use of the quick connect hose. The RV LP is regulated low pressure and cannot flow through another regulator on the grill.

There is an entire thread on the forum on the conversion of the Weber Q to use the on board LP quick connect.

Here to the link to thread from when I converted my Weber Q

https://www.thorforums.com/forums/f2...-lpg-4875.html

Post 22 contains the links for all the parts required. If you are not using a Q the parts required may be different.

Not sure of the manufacture, I purchased it at Cabela's and all it says on the grill is Cabela's.

OK, so I have a problem with my grill hooked directly to the Rig, very low pressure. Is it the hose I bought??

John
In the propane world you have high pressure before a regulator which comes from a tank, either the small 1 lb tanks or big onboard tanks, and you have low pressure which the appliances use, which is after a regulator.

The quick connect on your RV is low pressure, already regulated by the RV's regulator. It needs to go to a grill that does not have another regulator. If the grill was made to use the 1 lb bottles it has to have the regulator removed with an adapter kit to allow it to use pre-regulated propane from the RV.

Did you remove the regulator from the grill?

kwplot34, can you post a picture of your grill? With a picture we may be able to help you find a proper hose and a part number.

I think this is the grill:

https://www.cabelas.com/product/Camp...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

Ranger II Two-Burner

You can run this grill with or without a regulator. I got a gas hose that i can direclty connect into my RV gas REGULATED port on my thor vegas and then ran that directly into the grill. It works great.

I don't know for sure if this kit fits your exact model Coleman...
But the link should get you in the right ballpark...

Normally the regulator screws onto the grill. You will have to remove it and then determine the correct size fittings required to install the quick connect so it can be hooked into on board LPG.

I am sure there is info on the web for the specifics for converting a Coleman Road Tripper to on-board LPG, there are a bunch of those things in use by RV owners.
