Question Specific to Freedom Elite 30FE- what is under the dinette benches?

I am wondering if the Dinette Benches can be used for Storage but I haven't taken them apart to look in so I am hoping someone else has :-)

Thanks,
Larry

I had a 2019 30fe, I removed the screws holding down the plywood and used the space for storage.

Yes, they can. The one closest to the entry door has wiring in it for an outlet and the CO/LPG detector, but can be used for some limited storage. Also, the lower bunk/table seats are the same way. The left one is wide open, the right one has a lot of wiring. All of these need to be unscrewed to access.

I agree with Popfla. We use plastic crates to store items under the benches so nothing can slide around and damage wires.
I removed the forward main dinette bench primarily to allow the passenger seat in the cab to recline. I replaced it with nice wooden folding chairs. This does eliminate that storage possibility and the use of the dinette as a bed, but we were willing to sacrifice those to make the passenger seat more useable.
