Think of the money we'd save; if that smell could be purchased in an aerosol can?

Both my RVs have been used... one older, one less than a year. They were dealer sales, not private.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the used one after a good looking over, but for a $1K difference, I’d probably lean towards the new.

Now if the used price is negotiable....

It could also be as simple as health issues. The first owner of ours had to go on kidney dialasis.

That's certainly a possibility...
But there are just too many unknowns.

BTW: My Missus was on dialysis for six-Months; prior to her kidney transplant almost 14 years ago...

A lot of little things (and maybe some big ones) were probably fixed on the used unit.

How much is the extended warranty if added to the new one? I'm not big on extended warranties but we went for it on our new RV purchase...too many unknowns for us. AC, water heater, fridge, etc...

We got a great deal buying ours used because the previous owners wife was having health issues but it was way less than a new one in ur case I’m thinking if the new one is less I would probably go with it

Owner of Used Coach A says he is selling due to health issues. No mods/upgrades, and all is suppose to be working fine with no damage. I have not tried to Negotiate yet; as I wanted to ensure I really wanted the coach otherwise.

I posed the question because of extended warranty factor, but costing more. I think I will be okay either way. Don't expect the dealer's price to drop, nor do I plan to buy any extended warranty. ( I mean it is just an RV, what on earth would I need an extended warranty for? )

Prices seem to be dropping a tad. I am getting excited that something will be eminent soon. Both of these options are just so far that I kind have to pick one to target.

I'm sorry to hear that the "Health card", is forcing his hand...
But this could work out very well for you, and I wish you the best of luck!

We decided to purchase the new. I have listened to the feedback and the vast majority favored the new. Additionally, I learned that the new one Not only comes with my must absolutely have to have black tank San T Flush, it is prewired with 4k HDMI!!! This was a very pleasant surprise. Also the new has been stored in an indoor facility since Day 1. Refrigerator is still wrapped in plastic.

Next step is to fly to Florida and get pass PDI. But judging from the pictures; it all looks good. The dealer is working to ensure we get no surprises. I have shared all of my past negative experiences, and they seemed to be determined to avoid.

Question? Which you RV unit would you buy?

I think you made a wise choice. Congrats and good luck with her!

That’s the one I would have picked for sure. I hope your inspection goes really well. My best advice would be to use it as much as possible during its warranty period to shake out any “new bugs”. And because it’s fun!

off the lot - 10% at least. Even with the 7 year warranty, price is not low enough to bite.

Well, Bob I always wanted to be a SOB. If I get on the plane at 6:00 AM in the morning, do my precheck list, drive it, go through their PDI, survive the finance fraud game, sign some papers, leave my cashiers check, I may finally after 1 full year of trying be a real SOB

I am a tad nervous about what to expect. It is like I am waiting to see my 18,000 lb baby. Since all babies are pretty, I should be fine... right???

If all goes well, our first trip (shakedown) will be across 7 states. Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas & Texas.

Coach A or B

No brainer. Take the one with the extended warranty. These things are all built like crap and lots of things go wrong with them.
Just sayin'
