And it depends on your rig: type, size, indoor/outdoor stored, etc.

If you choose by price alone: that will be a mistake.
It's the Customer Service after the sale that makes the difference.

Probably not since nobody on this forum knows your driving record, the location where you live, your financial situation, number of other vehicles etc...

You'll remember how you were treated in a time of crisis for a lot longer than you'll remember what you paid.

State farm since 1977.
Only two agents in that time. An out of state move the original agent couldn't service. Our current agent is 180miles away.
Because
I appreciate the service,
I appreciate they know who I am
They appreciate how I am.
I appreciate the little things I get.
The neighbors are on forced placed because of a dirt road. I'm not.
They've never asked for a survey or even pictures of some damn odd vehicles.
They've never asked for mileage counts on our ultralow mile vehicle coverage.

I've never seriously shopped them.
Happy is a price I'll pay.

A small detour with a story for Bob;
We had a flood and a sunken dining room caught all of the water.
They wanted to depreciate the furniture.
Spousal unit sent receipts with a note: 'find another like it and we'll buy it'
They couldn't and VOLUNTARILY gave us full purchase price PLUS 10 percent. They feel they got off the hook for the replacement cost it would have been, they let us keep the furniture, we did veneer repair.
(I think of this every time someone here says their extended warranty didn't cover xxx. I know damn well they didn't buy the best, they gambled and lost)

All the above is a kind of
Thank you
To Bob
For sitting at that desk talking to everyone including the terminally stupid.

You might also consider a bundle if you still own a house. I have my auto/rv and home all in one bundle so only one payment plus a discount for bundling.

I’ve had State Farm on all my vehicles and on my home for over 40 years. They’ve always treated me right at (what I consider) a fair price … until I got an RV.
Last year I joined FMCA. Through them I received an offer from Progressive that was $250 a year less than what State Farm was charging me for the same coverage.
I called my State Farm office and asked if they could match Progressive’s rate. Told me no way. So, my RV insurance is now with Progressive. Just received my renewal notice and the rate only went up a couple of bucks.
So my advice is, shop around.

Check with Geico.
I used to have liberty mutual but after years of price increases with no accidents I switched my home boat vehicles and MH to Geico.
Geico consideres my MH another vehicle and does not require a separate policy saving me $500 a year.

Same here. I’ve had State Farm for 40 years and my cars house and motorcycles and have been very pleased. But they don’t have my MH as they just are not competitive for some reason.

After 34 years with AAA, I had one mishap. The next year they razed my rate by $1800. I called GMAC which just became National General at the time. Boy my quote was much less than AAA was prior to the mishap. Lowered it even more since I had a GMC. They even covered me for the total purchase price of the fifth wheel for five years should it get totaled. I am still with them.

Being a Insurance agent and licensed in Arizona, shopping by price can be a very slippery slope . Premium depends on a lot of criteria's, your credit may also have a lot to do with it. When shopping, make sure your liability limits are enough to cover your assets as well as enough to take care of the other party if you are at fault. Do you want your unit covered for comprehensive coverage, (glass, vandalism, fire, if you his a animal while driving etc,) do you want coverage to fix or replace your RV in the event the accident was your fault or is the other person is UNINSUERED.
My opinion is to find a trusted agent and pony up. Auto premiums are going up and up. Autos cost more to fix and attorney's aren't cheap either.

Just my two cents worth,
Raymond M Werner
