Rain water coming in when driving.

Hi
I am still having problems with water coming in when driving in rain.
The dealer thought they had fixed it by caulking all around slide out, but same problem when I took it out for a test drive.
We purchased this 2014 Chateau Citation C24 new just 4 weeks ago, I was told that the dealer replaced the "slide out converter".I am wondering what would be involved in doing that ,would the slide have to be removed? If so could the slide be out of alignment causing the leak.
Just trying all lines of thought to get to bottom of the problem.
I am thinking I made a mistake buying a Thor product after hearing all the negative comments or is this par for the course with other Manufacturers?.
Frustrated
Sherwood.

Not sure what a converter is, but there is a control unit for the slide out, and if they replaced it, it probably has to be aligned. You should be able to do the alignment yourself.

A slide leak whenever there is a slide involved is not uncommon. If you are sure it's the slide you should take a good look at seals. Sometimes the combination of flap and bulb seals just aren't right. If you are at whits end if it were me I would use some duct tape and tape the entire slide if you can, drive the unit int he rain and see if it stops. If it does then you definitely is the slide. Then I would remove the top and drive again. Keep eliminating till you trace down the area. Most likely the bottom or front of slide. Only way to get it does is process of elimination. Good luck.

Out of curiosity, when the slide is fully closed have you tried to slide your finger np between the seal all around?

Rain water coming in when driving

Thanks for those suggestions, the seal does seem tight when the slide is in. Its going back to the dealer tomorrow, I think its good to be pro active prior to taking it in.
