Rapid camp remote

I don’t have a charger for the remote. Can I use the charger from an old cell phone with the mini plug. It fits the remote. I didn’t plug it in to the AC.
I think it will work. Has anyone tried this.

Lippert will sell you a Rapid Camp remote charger for about $40. Lippert has a complete store on Amazon.com

Mine came new with a 3 foot USB cable. Get one from the dollar store and you will be fine. As others have said, the u is for universal.
