remove-adjust arm rest
Has anyone tried to remove or adjust the angle of the arm rest? I would like to tilt mine up just a little more than what they are if possible.

Remove? Yes - lotsa people do that
Adjust? I don't know that there is an angle adjustment. Haven't heard of anybody doing that. It would probably take an upholstery disassembly and a welder.

What 16ACE27 said.
They are all spot welded.
On my Vegas...the drivers arm rests were not even.
So after figuring out how to remove (rotate straight up, then push the arm in towards the seat very very hard, then rotate back wards)...I realized that the manufacturer welded the “stop pin” in the wrong location on the arm.
Thus, one arm was 2” lower than the other.
My fix was to JB Weld a small spacer to raise the uneven one.
The only other option is to remove the steel from the arm cover and re-weld in the proper location.

Perfect! But can you elaborate a bit? Not sure I can picture what you've done. The left arm on mine is lower than the right and I'd like to level them.
Thanks!

Mickey:
It’s been nearly 2 years since I fixed the seat arm, so it’s difficult for me to remember and explain.
1) remove the arm
2) wear a good headlight and carefully inspect how the mechanism works
3) find a small piece of hard plastic or metal that can fit inside the space where the welded steel pin hits the bump-stop
4) using needle nose pliers and your fingers, place the small “add-on” spacer in the location where it’s needed
5) you need a good sticky substance to permanently adhere the spacer where it’s needed
6) let dry overnight, then re-assemble
7) if re-assembled arm is still too low or now too high, do the entire process again
Good luck.

My arm rests were uneven also. While try to figure out how to even them out I realized they were put on backward. Left was on right side right on left side. I removed both and installed them on the proper side. Even now
Just a thought. Maybe your were installed backward also

It doesn't take much effort to make a nice, washable, slip on cover for those armrests.
Using hard foam you can sculpt them to exactly.your need.
Width, height, angle, shape, cup holder, phone holder, electrical buttons, ashtray, charging receptacle... All easily customized.

So now he'll have a customized dangling armrest?

Yes, but the good thing is the beverage holder will be self draining dependant on the angle of the dangle.
I might put an air horn switch on mine. I would have to only lift a finger...
The windshield shade would be nice there also.

Compared it to passenger side arm rest. Then noticed the curve was on top not the bottom. Pic is correct way

On our Thor Aria, there is a an adjustable 1/2" wheel inside the slot under the arm to adjust the angle of the arm. Flip the arm up a bit and just use your finger to turn the little wheel to change the angle.

Under the arm rest
In the Thor there is a little wheel that you can adjust with your finger. I’ve had 3 Thors and each one has them. My Aria was easiest to do.
