How to remove back rests on RecPro Charles 67?

If you pull the recliner(s) from the wall so you can get to the backside to inspect it. Think you'll find they slide into the seats and click in place. Not sure but think you'll have to manually relieve the pressure on each side so you can lift the backs out.
