Also ask them how far they will cover for towing... and whether they will cover a second truck if needed...
Those tend to be the issues I see comparing plans.

My auto insurance covered a tow home for a mechanical issue years ago - but I did have to convince them there wasn't a closer service location to go to that could handle it (cracked head on a small block 350).

Basic AAA covers towing to nearest service center - get you to safety basically... AAA Plus covers 100 miles.

Coachnet and Good Sam's seem to cover more - miles if needed and additional equipment/manpower - definitely a premium difference between those two. I had Coachnet - but can't justify the additional premium any more - so will be giving Good Sam's a try.

I cannot speak directly regarding a blowout. Never have had one. Knock on wood.
In my case I had an electrical failure resulting the the engine refusing to crank with a fully charged battery. The towing service showed up with a semi-sized tow truck and an operator that knew his business. The Good Sam operator had told us where to go. The tow operator didn't think that was the right place. We called and that place couldn't help us. The operator said he knew where most RV's got towed to so we called. They said sure, come on in. That was Open Road RV north side of Atlanta. Great people and I appreciated the driver knowing what was needed. Thank you Good Sam.
You sent the right tow to help us.

I have Allstate Motor Club...they offer an RV Roadside assistance plan which is an upgrade for their regular plan. Although we haven't purchased yet, I'd want that security before I went out on the road.

If you get a good Sam's visa for gas, you can use points for roadside assistance and warranty polices. I wish I knew about this when we bought. Cw had us finance at a higher rate. Goodsams has great rates for financing as well. We did a refi with them and saved over 100 a month.

If Allstate roadside assistance is ANYTHING like their insurance, the 1st time you use it the premiums will skyrocket. Had their insurance for 30+ years & 1st claim, $1000, I became high risk & premiums tripled, dumped them immediately & been giving free advertising since.
