rust underneath

Yes I have it on my 2015 windsport. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

I expected that to happen, I attempted to coat the under carriage with an undercoat. I didn't expect Ford or Thor to do go out of their way to protect the bare metal.

Yeah it came from the dealer and factory that way but has gotten worse. I noticed it as with the rusty screw heads around as well, when we first picked it up but figured it was common, since the walk around guy at the dealer said it was nothing. Since I have yet to find a service dealer with a lift no one has gotten under for a look to say anything about it.
I have not my self and have had the Motor home now since Nov 2014. I check the tires and all that but never routinely get under to look up there as I did recently. I was shocked at the amount of rust and wonder how long it takes to rust through to break and drop the drive shaft?

I use a product called "Fluid Film" on my boat and trailer. If you are worried about the rust, it will stop it. I found the best price on EBay by the case but I have also bought from Amazon.

Fluid FilmĀ® | Corrosion Preventative, Lubricant and Rust Inhibitor

yeah, in fact this reminds me I need to crawl under there again for a look around.

I had some light surface rust on the drivetrain, but it was very light, nothing like that U-Joint photo

My driveshaft especially.... the whole shaft. Guessing it's not even painted form Mor Ryde. I thought about lightly sanding and then painting with some of that rust converting stuff. maybe will if things look worse
