OK... so we are looking at drivers side front... just behind radio antenna...
Are there stains on the roof too??

Was any patching done in that area? (the sealant looks interesting...) Dont know if you are the original owner.

Assuming roof is clean - I expect there is something metal under that sealant and in that trim that shouldn't be there. Digging into that sealant - and replacing it with fresh Dicor when done to reseal.

If it is on the roof too - with line to the AC unit - then we can look up there - but from what I can make out - I'm thinking the roof will be clear and the problem is on the top corner.

There is a product sold at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart and some grocery stores called CLR .
I have had good luck removing rust stains with it.
You may want to follow that up with some rubbing compound and a good coat of wax.
You will also have to find the source of the rust and remove it or the same thing is going to happen again.
I agree with other posters that it is most likely a random screw that is not stainless steel . You could take the cover off of the a/c unit and have a look in there to be sure, some Thor employee may have left an old screwdriver in there .
I found a pair of pliers and a screwdriver in my Vegas !

Looks to me like a screw or something.

I would be very worried because if it is a screw that means the screw rusting could end up rusting enough to let the water into the RV and cause interior water damage.

I replaced all screws out side with stainless steel. What a pain but good insurance. Look under your slides you will see head rusting off
