Smile RV Repair Club

Anyone here ever used this on line site (RV REPAIR CLUB) for do it yourself repair videos etc?
I have looked at some of the limited video on the site but to see to full version you need to join.
Please advise.
Thanks

I don't think I've ever seen anyone that thinks paying for their information is better than getting it from Youtube or forums like this.

There are a lot of free videos on YouTube for motor coach issues. And Lipert (sliders, steps, leveling jacks) University has an online site that has very in-depth DIY videos on how to repair many things. Free.
And then there's this forum. Aside from the P&M people are very helpful on new and innovative ways to do things and repairs. Lots of Do's and Don'ts.

U-Tube is a great tool as long as you know the right questions to ask it. :-)
The site I asked about dropped the cost from 49.00 to 3.00 for the 1st year.
I'll start searching u tube.
Thanks to all.

As a newbie, I tried the paid videos for a while, but I felt they were too general - for example, no detail on how to winterize - just general concepts. I know the concepts - I wanted to know what valves do I poem or close, and where are they in my RV! And it's mostly just him talking...

We are RV newbies so joined RV repair. I sent them my first question since joining about having an issue with closing our skylight about 6 hours ago. Still haven't heard back yet so I'll let you know.

If your "skylight" is open you have big problems, but if you're talking about one of your roof vents then someone on here can probably help.

The FMC magazine just covered this one...
12 volt: positive to positive, and negative to negative.
6 volt: positive to negative, and negative to positive!
But I'm working from memory, so please confirm this!

Whoa be unto him that connects both batteries "positive to negative, and negative to positive!"

You beat me to it... That last connection would certainly get your attention...

Attach two 6v batteries positive to negative.... Then attach the coach to the remaining positive and negative terminals.

I apologize for not making that part clear... or even mentioning it!
The lines going to and from the batteries are hooked up normally. The 6-volt setup just throws a "two-step" in the middle of the pile.
