Sure is. Put a couple of ounces of bleach in the fresh tank and run it thru the system. Drain and rinse.

I also drive a few times over some speed bumps to distribute/splash things around in the tank. After rinsing, I change the inline water filter.

Drain the water tank & hot water heater.
Close the drains.
Add 1/8 cup of bleach per each 8 gallons of water in your freshwater tank.
Mix the bleach in a pitcher of water and add to the tank. Fill your freshwater tank & hot water heater.
Turn on the water pump and run the bleach mixture through all the faucets,
Now let the system sit for 6-12 hours to allow the bleach to kill the bacteria. Longer is better.
Drain the tanks. Refill with fresh water and pump through the lines. If you still smell the bleach, drain & refill tanks, repeat the rinse.
